My dear father,
I am glad to receive your letter today. I am glad to know that all of you are well at home. I am working hard for my annual examination which will be held in Februar. I have to purchase some history books. I also have to pay the hostel dues by the end of this month. It would be kind of you if you send me 5,000. I shall buy the books and clear the hostel dues as soon as I receive the money.
